7-12 Special Education Teacher

Gothenburg Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of 7-12 Special Education Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.  Candidates must be properly endorsed.  The successful candidate will join a team-oriented staff working with excellent students in a progressive and supportive community.  Extra-duty opportunities including Head Girls Basketball are available but are not required.

Early Childhood/Special Education Teacher

Gothenburg Public Schools has a potential opening for an Early Childhood Special Education teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.  Responsibilities of this position include teaching in a preschool classroom, resource support and case management for students with special needs and home visits.  Interested Candidates must have a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.  The successful candidate will join a team-oriented staff working with excellent students in a progressive and supportive community.

Head Girls Basketball Coach

Gothenburg Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Head Girls Basketball coach for the 2020-2021 school year.  Candidates must possess a current teaching certificate or a Special Services certificate.  The individual needs to be highly energetic, organized, a good communicator, and able to build purposeful and positive relationships with student-athletes.  Candidates must have the desire to build a strong tradition of girls basketball at Gothenburg.

Food Handler

Gothenburg Schools is looking for a full-time food handler to prepare and serve lunch and brunch
to the best students in the area. Personal cleanliness, fast handiwork, and the ability to work without supervision a must.
This full-time position runs through the school year. Work hours are 7:15 - 2:00.
As a full time employee you will qualify for a great benefits package.
