PowerSchool Parent Portal

PowerSchool single sign in offers a number of benefits, including access to multiple students with one sign in, a personalized account for each parent and guardian, and the ability for parents to retrieve their own sign in information. Each parent/guardian can have a separate login to PowerSchool by using a separate email to set up the account. Parent accounts will be different from student accounts and the unique student login information will be distributed to students the first week of school.

Below are the step by step instructions for setting up your parent account and linking each of your child's account. If you do not have an access id and access password for your child, contact the school office.

Parent Instructions for Creating your Single Sign-on Account

Go to https://ps.gothenburgswedes.org/

Click Create Account

“Create Parent Account,” is the information necessary to establish the parent’s account. All fields in this section are required, and include the following:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email (must be unique)
• Desired User Name (must be unique)
• Password
• Re-enter Password

The second section on the page, “Link Students to Account,” requires that the information for at least one student be provided, and includes the following:

• Student Name
• Access ID
• Access Password
• Relationship

Parents may enter the information for up to seven students when initially establishing their account. If they need to add additional students they can do so after establishing the account by signing in and navigating to Account Management > Students.

Working with the PowerSchool Mobile App

The District Code is a four-character code that can be entered on the sign in screen to point the mobile apps to PowerSchool mobile services. Our District Code is

WFRQ.

Once you have created your Parent Portal account online,the same username and password will provide access on the mobile app.
