Rehearsals for all 6-8 grade performers will be held between March 28 and May 15 either after school from 3:45-5 p.m. or in the evening from 7-8:30 p.m. The rehearsal schedule will be built based on scenes and student availability, so it is imperative that performers submit an online audition form as well as the registration no later than March 21. Students are welcome to attend study hall in the high school media center on Wednesdays from 2:45-3:45 before rehearsal if needed. Dress rehearsals will be Saturday, May 6 from 9-11 a.m. and Monday, May 15 from 3:45-5:30 p.m. The Middle School Acting Troup Performance will be Tuesday, May 16 at 7 p.m. in the PAC.
Each rehearsal will consist of warm ups and stage games, general blocking and performance techniques, other theatrical jobs (lighting, sound, stage crew), and audience etiquette, led by GHS coaches Lori Long and Erin Feather, as well as GHS One Act Cast and Crew members.
Student participants will receive a t-shirt, which will serve as the base of their costumes. Please return this registration form and payment no later than March 21 -- the proceeds of this production will help defray costs for GHS fine arts students on a theatre trip to New York City in June 2023.
