Swedes Abel Flores, GHS Senior, finished fourth in Class B at the NSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Wrestling at 106 pounds, Abel started the state meet with two wins; a pin and then a 5-2 decision. His next match was against Hudson Loges from Blair, who would go on to finish as state champion.
After the loss, Flores went on to beat his next opponent in a 8-5 decision. His last match, against Warner from Bennington, was another tight contest, with Abel losing by decision 5-2.
Flores ended the season with a record of 34-13. Way to go,d Abel, and congratulations on a great year!
