The Swede Speech team took their talent on the road and marched into the SWC meet on Feb. 28 in Cozad on a mission to compete.
"The team sent 15 of their 20 events to finals, which means the team brought home medals in 15 events," said head coach Kaitlyn Clark. "Of those 15 medals, six were event champions."
Clark went on to say this meet was a fantastic way for the team to begin their postseason.
Gothenburg will host the District Speech meet on March 7 when the Swedes will compete against six other teams in hopes of qualifying for the March 15 State Championships.
