Dudley Elementary hosted "Dudley Unplugged" on April 20, providing families a way to enjoy games, challenges, a story walk and more with the intent of encouraging everyone to unplug and focus on family.
Activities included board games, face painting, an obstacle course, seed planting, a family photo booth and a hotdog social.
Dudley principal Josie Floyd said she's already received a tremendous amount of positive feedback and anticipates this event being a yearly date on the calendar.
"We had a great turnout of families and I think everyone had a lot of fun based on the smiles on faces," she said. "Better yet, they all walked away with some activities to help them "UNPLUG" as a family!"
