Engler

Four GHS Grads and one GHS senior are the recipients of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Scholarship.

University of Nebraska Lincoln junior Savannah Jensen and sophomores Jake Burge and Gage Anderson were named as continuing scholarship winners while Braeden Anderson and Elissa Foley were named as incoming freshman award winners.

Awarded to over 100 students totaling $189,000 in award money, the one-time scholarship will benefit 100 students.

Established in 2010 as a gift from the Paul and Virginia Engler Foundation, the mission of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program is to embolden people on the courageous pursuit of their purpose through the art and practice of entrepreneurship. The program serves as an intersection in which students from a variety array of majors and business interests can link arms and build a better world through the offering of a minor.
