This year’s "Give and Gather" drive was an outstanding success, a testament to the generosity and compassion of our school and community. Thanks to the combined efforts of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, the drive brought in $300 in cash donations, two carloads of toiletries and winter clothing for the Healthy Family Center, and two carloads of canned goods for the local food bank.

The elementary school led the charge, earning an incredible 16,813 points through their contributions. Each donated item had an assigned point value—winter coats were worth 25 points, while canned fruits and vegetables earned 3 points each. This point system added excitement and encouraged friendly competition, inspiring students to give their all.

We feel truly blessed and fortunate to be able to help so many in our community through this drive. The collected winter clothing and toiletries will provide essential support to the Healthy Family Center, while the canned goods will help stock shelves at the local food bank, ensuring families have access to warm clothing and nutritious meals during these colder months.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to everyone who contributed to this effort. It was truly a team effort that showcased the generosity and community spirit we are so lucky to be a part of. We would also like to recognize Madi Cornwell, Kalli Strauser, Jacie Naprstek, and Adi Bartels for their outstanding efforts in counting and distributing the donated items to the appropriate locations around town.

This drive reminds us of the incredible impact we can make when we come together for a common purpose. Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of so many. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to serve our community in the future!G&G2
