All parents, athletes, and coaches in grades 7–12 are invited to an important evening of presentations and meetings to help prepare for the upcoming fall sports season.

The evening will begin with a special presentation by Darin Boysen from the Nebraska Coaches Association titled “The Role of Parents in Educational-Based Athletics.” Following this, Mr. Mroczek will present on a few topics. The evening will conclude with sport-specific parent/athlete meetings held throughout the high school.

Schedule:

6:30 p.m. — “The Role of Parents in Educational-Based Athletics” presented by Darin Boysen in the PAC

7:30 p.m. — Presentation by Mr. Mroczek

7:45 p.m. (approximately) — Parent/Athlete meetings for:

  • Cross Country

  • Football

  • Girls Golf

  • Softball

  • Volleyball

  • JH Football

  • JH Volleyball

  • JH Cross Country

We encourage all 7–12 athletes and their parents along with youth coaches to attend this event to ensure a successful start to the fall season.

As a reminder to all athletes and parents, any student who wishes to participate in any sport this fall must have a sports physical. In addition, ImPact Baseline Concussion Testing is required for all incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade athletes, as well as any students who are new to the district - regardless of grade.

  • Thursday, July 31, 2025 (HS Media Center)

    • 10:00 a.m.: 11th Grade Girls

    • 11:00 a.m.: 11th Grade Boys
