Dudley Elementary is kicking off the annual book fair with a coin drive the week of October 27-31.
A week of colorful fun encourages students to "Dive into Reading" and donate change throughout the week.
The winning class will get a special prize from Mrs. Harrison the Monday after the book fair, and if the elementary meets their goal of $1,000, Mrs. Floyd has agreed to take a pie to her face!
Dress-up days are as follows:
Monday: wear blue and green and bring pennies Tuesday: wear tropical prints and bring nickels
Wednesday: wear strips and spots and bring dimes
Thursday: wear a hat and sunglasses and bring quarters
Friday: wear neon colors and bring any coin!
The book fair runs November 3 - 6th in the Dudley Elementary Library.
