The Dudley Elementary Track Meet is set for Friday, May 8, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Students do not need to arrive until 8:45 a.m.
The 4-6th grade athletes will start their day at the field events in the morning, while the K-3 grade athletes will be on the track competing in their chosen running events. The groups will swap for the afternoon session, beginning at 1 p.m.
There will be a break in the day from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Student athletes are asked to be back at the track by 12:45 p.m.
Due to the majority of the elementary staff helping to run the track meet, students will need to be under the supervision of a trusted adult. If your child does not have someone who can be with them during the track meet, please contact Dudley Elementary and arrangements will be made for your child's care.
The Gothenburg PTA will offer hot dogs, walking tacos, snacks and drinks throughout the day. Due to the junior high and high school students being in regular classes for the day, indoor lunch seating is not available. Bleachers and open grass space is available for students and adults to enjoy the day.
A form was sent home with information regarding Track and Field Day for Elementary athletes. Please fill out the form to indicate if your student needs adult supervision, a sack lunch, or if they are brining their own lunch that day.
