Truhe

Bobby Truhe from KSB School Law visited Gothenburg Public Schools Feb. 14 to discuss Digital Citizenship with students in grades 5-12.

The presentation was conversation - style with those in attendance, encouraging them to be responsible and take accountability for their digital profile and the information that they send out from their online persona.

Digital Citizenship Education is designed to help students learn the skills they need to become digitally literate and be conscious of their media consumption, web privacy and digital footprint.

Truhe's conversation with students included topics such as cyberbullying, sexting and internet safety. The sessions were customized and age-appropriate for the upper elementary, middle school  and high school students.

Resources are available for parents who are interested in learning more about digital parenting through KSB School Law.
