
The Swede speech team will host a Showcase on Monday, the 27th. During the evening the team will share performances and present team awards! The event starts at 7:30pm in the PAC. (note: this is a change from the calendar time of 7) The showcase is open to all!

The Swede Tennis Team will open their season on Monday at North Platte. This is a Doubles Invite held at Cody Park. The meet starts at 10 a.m. Good Luck Swedes!!


Good luck to the HS Quiz Bowl team in back to back competitions. On Monday, they will travel to Minden for a 9:00 start time. On Tuesday, they will compete in the Broken Bow Invite starting at 9:00. (a rescheduled meet) Let's go Swedes!

SWC Music & Art festival was impressive!!!


The GHS Winter Sports Program will be held on Monday at 6:30 in the PAC. All participants, family and the Swede Community are invited to attend. Celebrating the Swedes!


It's Prom Tux Time! No need to travel to North Platte... Hirschfeld's is coming to Gothenburg. They will be in the high school cafeteria on Monday, March 27th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. to measure you for your tux. There is a $25 non-refundable deposit. They will be back the week of prom to deliver and fit your tux and then will also pick it back up at Post Prom.



Dudley Elementary Families! The annual coin drive is next week!
The winning class earns a special treat and if we raise more than $1000 Mrs. Floyd will spend a half day on the school roof!

The 2023 Middle School Acting Troupe will hold auditions for this year's play on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week - you only need to attend one of the three sessions, and if they don't work for you, talk to Mrs. Long or Mrs. Feather! The 1-3rd Grade Spring Concert will be Thursday March 23, 2023 in the Performing Arts Center.
The 1-3rd Grade Spring Concert is quickly approaching and the students have been working very hard on all their songs for the musicals they will be performing for the Community of Gothenburg. The First Grade is performing the musical "Big Dreams" and should wear nice concert clothing for their concert. The Second Grade is performing the musical "Just Sing!" and should wear nice concert clothing for their concert. The Third Grade is performing "Razzamajazz" a Jazz musical and the girls should wear flapper dresses while the boys wear black pants, suspenders, white shirts, bow ties, and black shoes to bring the musical more to life.

3rd Grade: ARRIVE AT 7:15 PM at the High School Choir Room. PERFORM AT 7:30 PM
After each performance, the students will meet their parents outside the band and choir room doors at the High School so Mrs. Wieseler can get ready for the next concert to begin.


It was a busy night at Gothenburg Public Schools with Kindergarten Registration for 2023. We are excited to have these new little Swedes join us at Dudley Elementary in August. Thanks to everyone who made this a successful night!
