Today we had a special assembly for our 5th & 6th grade students to kick off the 2nd semester. A panel of four high school shared some "nuggets" of information around goal setting, leadership, turning setbacks into opportunities for learning & growth, and community involvement. Awards were distributed for meeting Accelerated Reader goals, achieving Honor Roll, & earning Perfect Attendance. Four (5th grade students) earned some Swede Bucks from Ellen Mortensen for participating in the Greeting Card Contest. Additionally, six students were nominated by their peers and teachers to attend the Region IV Principals Leadership Conference which will be held in February in Kearney. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work of our students during the 1st semester and take away a few great tips from a few of our HS students that they can apply to their daily lives TODAY! Congratulations to all of our Dudley Swedes!
