We had a great group of educators from @GBurgSwedes at the @NeMTSS Summit today! Informative sessions that inspired, validated, and prompted great collaboration! #NeMTSS23 “What is a small thing you do every day that matters?”

A visible sign on a staff member's door at Gothenburg Public Schools! What a great mindset and focus for our day! I'm confident our staff and students will tackle the day with the idea of making it better for someone else! #SwedesLead

Something that always brightens my day at Gothenburg Public Schools is visiting Mrs. Bell's preschool class! Recently they "showed off" their best writing of the letters they know how to properly form! Great routines, motor plan, & practice! #SwedesLead

Due to the weather forecast on Friday, Oct. 13, the Homecoming Parade will NOT take place. Gothenburg High School will follow a 2:30 bell schedule that day Pep Rally taking place in the North Gym at that time.
Please note: Dudley Elementary will follow a regular bell schedule.

Our Swede Branch Bank will open for business on Wednesday, October 18th. Please read over the FAQ document that was sent home with all K-6 students for all details.

Due to an expected overflow crowd, Gothenburg Public Schools' regularly scheduled Board Meeting will take place in the PAC at 7PM this evening. Those choosing to watch from home can watch on the Swede Activities Youtube channel which can be accessed from our homepage.
Please Note: Public participation is limited to the attached guidelines. Community members who wish to address the board will be asked to state their name and sign on up on the provided clipboard upon arrival so the board can determine the appropriate amount of time for public comment.
Important Points of Emphasis: Public comment is an opportunity for community members to speak but does not mean the board can engage in dialogue. No action will be taken on any item not listed on our published agenda which can be accessed at https://bit.ly/45pymB6

Due to the projected weather forecast later this week, the C-5 District Cross Country Meet scheduled for Thursday, October 12th, has been moved to Wednesday, October 11th. Start time will remain the same, 4:30 P.M. CST.

(Coffee) Shop Talk
Stakeholders: We are excited to have (Coffee) Shop Talk at Stories Gathering Place on Tuesday, October 10th at 9AM.
