On 5/1, GPS hosted the Gothenburg Preschool Track Meet. Over 70 children participated in a variety of super fun events. Such an exciting day for our "littles" in Gothenburg and a GREAT opportunity to bring all of our preschools together! More photos coming soon!

The kindergarten class visited the FFA Greenhouse yesterday! They are learning all about people and places in the community and a few weeks ago planted their own seeds in the classroom. The students are anxiously waiting for their seeds to grow into plants as beautiful as the ones they saw in "Ms. Kara's Flower Shop" (i.e. what the students affectionately call the FFA Greenhouse now :)). Thanks, Ms. Kara for the tour! We love it when our "big Swedes" can share a love of hands-on learning with the "little Swedes"!

As we enter the last few weeks of the school year, we have some more Dudley staff to meet.

The Class of 2023 is a group of go-getters!

It was an exciting day today for our Dudley 5th graders as they embark on a new adventure of creating our own Dudley bank branch with Flatwater Bank. Students learned about business ethics, etiquette, interviewing, and designing and selecting a logo. They also had the opportunity to "play some games" which demonstrated leadership skills such as communication and the ability to work together as a team. We look forward to this new initiative for Dudley Elementary! More information to come! Thank you Flatwater staff for spending the afternoon with us.
